4 week yoga course in Brecon, South Wales. Every Thursday from 26th of September to the 17th of October 2019
In this course you will be invited on a journey, through different postures, to awaken the intelligence within.
ALL WELCOME !! (no previous experience needed).
September 26th: The foundation (if you haven't worked with me before it's important that you complete this class before attending any of the others. If you have worked with me it will be a continuation of embodiment in the principles of integrity). October 3rd Inversions. Inversions (shoulder stand variations), if done correctly, can be profoundly nourishing. We will prepare the whole body, in all the elements that are needed to be present to go upside down so that your body can reap the full rewards and not cause any damage. There will be many variations taught, including not even going on the shoulders, so all can benefit from having the heart above the head. Taking the two sessions to do this, you will also be given a bit of theory behind the practice of inversions. October 10th: Discovering the nourishing benefits of backbends done safely and effectively. October 17th: Discovering the nourishing benefits of seated postures including forward bends, twists and rotations.
Time: 6.00 -7.45pm Price: £10 per session or £45 for the course (if paid in full by the 26th September) Location: Subud Hall, Brecon, LD3 7 HH (there is plenty of free parking on site) Contact: Olivia for any questions and booking (which is essential). What to bring: A yoga mat, a cushion for sitting on and a blanket or shawl (however if you need to borrow any of these, no problem, just ask before and i can bring with me).
This course will focus on learning the Bandhas part 2 whilst exploring inversions and forward bends. The Bandhas are the deep heart of yoga posture practice. On February 10th (mid way through the course) You will be given a workshop session, which involves a shorter class with a guided exploration to understand/embody the principals more deeply to each of your individual needs.
