March 3rd - 31st (5 sessions) Every Wednesday at 7 - 7.45 am (Each session will be recored and available for 1 week, so you don't need to be there at 7am if the time doesnt suit)
Somatic meditation invites a deep intimacy with the presence of the body. Allowing the intelligence of the mind to rest into the intelligence of the body. Which invites the mind to become both quiet and clear. Allowing the intelligence of all life, that lives through you, to express its wisdom, compassion and joy more easily.
Each session will involve a short movement practice to prepare for the stillness. On the first session this will be done on a chair. On the following sessions the seated meditation will be given with the option to use a chair or cushion (ill give full details of how to sit, so your body is as stable, supported and comfortable as possible, for the meditations).

A little of my experience (and from where i will be sharing from)... My meditation journey began 20 years ago with a Vipassana intensive in India. From there a year later I went to Poland to attend Zen Sesshin and soon after I discovered Somatic Meditation in Italy. This became the most profound practice for me and the one I have stayed with ever since. I have continued to attend intensives every year and for the last 8 have co-taught on them (this year was the first online version we did).
